China Opposes NDAA for Fiscal Year 2025 Signed by Biden, Citing Negative Content

China has officially expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025, which was recently signed into law by US President Joe Biden. The Act contains provisions that China perceives as negative. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that China has lodged solemn representations with the United States regarding the Act. Additionally, Xu Dong, spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress, criticized the Act for continuing to hype the so-called China threat.
