VisitUkraine Fires Storm Shadow Missiles at Russian-North Korean Command Post in Kursk, Killing 20+ Officers
Nov 23, 2024, 07:32 PM
Ukraine has escalated its military actions by firing British-made Storm Shadow missiles into Russian territory, marking a significant development in the ongoing conflict. The Ukrainian military confirmed the use of these missiles, which were reportedly used to strike a joint Russian and North Korean command and control post in the Kursk region, killing over 20 high-level officers from both nations, including General Solodchuk, 18 Russian officers, and reportedly 500 North Korean soldiers. This action follows Ukraine's use of U.S.-made ATACMS missiles on Russian soil. In response, Russia launched an ICBM, described as nuclear-capable, targeting the city of Dnipro in Ukraine. The strike in the Kursk region also wounded 33 Russian soldiers. The use of Storm Shadow missiles has been described as 'very successful' by Ukrainian officials, despite intensified Russian air attacks.
