Baldoni alleges that Lively attempted to take control of the film, making unauthorized changes to the script and demanding a producer credit. The legal action follows Lively's earlier lawsuit against Baldoni, where she accused him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a retaliatory smear campaign against her. Baldoni's lawsuit also references the Los Angeles wildfires, claiming that Lively served her lawsuit during a time when the defendants were evacuating their homes. Prior to this, Baldoni had filed a $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times for its coverage of Lively's allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation.
