A massive Russian missile and drone attack overnight targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, causing significant damage to power facilities in multiple regions. The DTEK energy company reported that a power facility in Kyiv was destroyed, severely impacting the power grid. Additionally, Ukrainian Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, confirmed that energy facilities in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were struck. The Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station was among the affected sites. The attack has resulted in widespread disruptions and the full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
