A 39-year-old man, Huang Wen, has been sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve by the Changde Intermediate People's Court in Hunan, China, for endangering public safety. On November 19, Huang deliberately drove his vehicle into a crowd near a school, injuring 30 individuals, including 18 elementary school children. Following the car attack, he also assaulted others with a weapon.
