Microsoft has unveiled a new lineup of AI-powered PCs at its annual Build developer conference in Redmond, Washington. The new devices, branded as Copilot+ PCs, feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processors, promising significant enhancements in performance and battery life, with up to 22 hours of usage. The Surface Pro and Surface Laptop, part of this new lineup, boast features such as OLED screens, Wi-Fi 7, and optional 5G connectivity. Microsoft also introduced a 'Recall' feature, which uses AI to search through apps and documents more efficiently. The company predicts that 50 million AI PCs will be purchased in the next year. Dell, HP, and Lenovo also announced new AI-focused laptops powered by Qualcomm chips, marking a significant shift in the PC market towards AI integration.
