Second Suspect, 17, Charged in Murder of Retired CPD Officer Larry Neuman

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder of retired Chicago Police Department (CPD) explosives technician Larry Neuman. The suspect, who was arrested earlier this week, is the second person to face charges in connection with Neuman's death. Another suspect, 16-year-old Lazarius Watt, had already been charged as an adult. The incident occurred earlier this month on Chicago's West Side. Additionally, the 17-year-old suspect is also facing charges related to a November 2023 armed robbery.
